I am using windows 7 ultimate, and thinking of uninstalling some software to make my CPU LIGHTER and FASTER, but i don’t want to lose important software that help my daily works (browsing, downloading, office tasks, few games or maybe no game at all).I got this CPU from my brother.
1.adobe flash player 10.
some said it takes a lot of CPU and Memory, but i need to know more about this product, so than i can be sure to uninstall it, I’ve done Google but not satisfied, I need to know from people who are using are ever used it. I don’t play games a lot.

2.yahoo! messenger
this one keeps showing up every time i start my computer, i don’t know what it is and how to use it. i don’t really like messaging, facebook is enough. but i want to know how important it is for you dealing with your daily computer job. also about its friends “yahoo!toolbar, yahoo!software update, yahoo!search protection” i want to uninstall them also.

3. what is k-lite mega codec pack 5.0.5 and daemon tools toolbar? how important?

4. i want to keep adobe reader, but what is adobe air and acrobat.com? if i uninstall adobe flash player 10, will adobe reader 930 work fine without it? if I keep adobe reader, should I also keep adobe air and acrobat.com?

first off, im running vista 32 bit. anyhow, yesterday i was looking around for freeware video games, and i hadnt realized my trend micro anti-virus wasnt turned on. i clicked on a site from google and instantly my computer started wigging out, i got all these popups that i couldnt get to go away so i turned off my computer. when i turned it back on and came to my user login screen i logged in and after a second a window came up saying i would only be able to use my pc with limited funcionality of windows (or something around that effect.) and it wouldnt let me get into windows, it would let me open an internet browser, however i had no start menu or task bar and when i exited the internet browser it would go back to the vista login screen. i managed to get into windows, though, somehow. im scared 2 turn my pc off again because i dont want it to not let me log back onto it. anyways after finally getting it back into windows i started up my trend micro and it instantly asked me to allow a program through which i didnt. so i ran a quick scan and it found some trojan files but it wasnt able to remove them, or quarantine them or anything. so i tried to manually go into the system32 folder (which is where they were) and remove the infected file, but the infected file wasnt on the list in there. after that i ran the full system scan and it get stuck at about 50% on a recycle bin folder. i left it on overnight and it didnt even get by it. ive looked in my applications and processes list and there is this process “b.exe” that im 100% sure was not running before this happend, and it uses quite a bit of memory. i can end the process, however it keeps turning itself back on after a while when i end it. so i thought with my antivirus not being able to complete a full scan and not being able to manually remove the file i thought i would just do a system restore but when i went into that all of my restore points were gone! at this point im really just kind of mind boggled and dont know what to do ive tried everything that i can think of to rid myself of this problem but to no avail. ive kind of been thinking about even uninstalling my trend micro and trying to download and install the free AVG antivirus to see if maybe that will help me get rid of this virus or trojan or whatever it is. i just dont know what to do, any help is GREATLY appreciated, thanks!

my cousin was trying to guess my password and she got it wrong 10 times so it wiped my memory and now it says to reload software 513 but i have noo idea what to do? can someone help me please?

Yesterday I was browsing software and found some freeware from Stardock. However foolishly instead of downloading it from their website I downloaded it of some shady download site. The symptoms are:

>Massive slowdown in computer performance
>My motherboard fan is extremely noisy
>Adware appearing in clusters of two or three windows, appearing every 5-10 minutes, advertising PKR and Share Investment
>Processes Zll.exe and Zlk.exe appeared, both eating huge amount of memory and CPU. These were closable in task manager
>Advanced System Care Pro keeps detecting Registry Problems and Spyware/Adware Risks. After fixing them more are generated
> Processes atieclxx.exe, csrss.exe and winlogon.exe have appeared in task manager. These are normal processes but appear to be infected as they are usually not there and a message appears whereby they are impossible to close.
>Kaspersky has detected Trojan.Win32.Swisyn.jyb and HEUR:Trojan.Win32.Generic in Zim.exe and deleted it. As I wrote that it also found various Trojan-Downloader.Java.Agent.en problems and deleted them. My performance has slightly increased and the fan speed slighly reduced.

I normally play games like LOTRO and CSS, LOTRO Mostly but apparantly from CanYouRunIt it wont work so I dont wish to waste 17 gig.

Could any body recommend me any decent games to buy, or free to download (Freeware).
